Work Credit System

People like to get their hands dirty. It's fun! And it helps the Farmers. As a shareholder, if you work during the season for 10 hours for a Basic share or 20 hours for a Full share and record these hours in the Harvest Room Work Book, you will be entitled to a credit of $50 or $100, respectively, which will be applied to a share for the following season. (No partial credit will be given.)

Ongoing harvesting and weeding are the essential needs of the farm for those of you who enjoy getting your hands in the dirt. However, there are many ways to assist such as phone calling, participating in special events, and helping with educational programs. If you have special skills (carpentry, electrical, mechanical, administrative, chain-sawing, teaching), please let us know and we'll match you with one of the endless jobs on our farm "To Do" list.
