Position Available: Part-time Administrative Assistant

Job Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant will help:

  • Manage and update our database including CSA memberships, Farm Camp registrations, and donors;
  • Correspond with CSA members, education program participants, and donors;
  • Answer the phone and return phone calls when appropriate;
  • Open and sort mail;
  • Ensure that donors receive thank you letters in a timely fashion;
  • Help ensure that our website stays up-to-date;
  • Assist with event planning and logistics as needed;
  • Manage appropriate financial tracking for donations, CSA memberships, registration for education programs, and other income; and
  • Conduct other duties as needed.

Desired Skills
A successful candidate will be detail-oriented with administrative and computer skills to fulfill the job responsibilities.

Hours
5 to 15 hours on a weekly basis depending on work demands. Availability 3 days per week preferred (ie. work 2 to 4 hours Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).

Start & End Dates
April 1, 2010 through December 2010 with the possibility of opportunities for future employment.

Compensation
$12 per hour plus seasonal u-pick fruits and vegetables from the farm.
