Field Trips

Field trips typically include:

• A welcoming discussion to learn about what food justice and sustainable agriculture means

• Rotation through stations learning about different concepts

• Visits with the animals (depending on seasonal availability)

• A tour of the farm or walk through our nature trail

• A creative nature project.

 

We are happy to host learners of all ages from kindergarten through higher ed. Fields trips are typically 1-4 hours depending on the school's schedule and the students' ages. If you have a particular topic you would like to study on the farm, please let us know! We are happy to accommodate and have a variety of lessons available.  Please contact our education director to set up your field trip or for more information!
